It all begins with an idea.
Blog post number one’s purpose is to inform you, honestly and shamelessly, that I have no clear idea of what a blog is or how it works, or if anybody will ever read these words. In the meantime, I’ll be posting on this part of the website everything that I think will be of interest both to the average tattoo client and the most advanced of collectors.
The idea of tattoos in general, from what I’ve noticed, is very different for many individuals. Some folks see it as a way of life itself, while others see it as a sacrilege to mark their bodies in any way, then there’s a bunch of people in between.
Tattoing has been, for me, a process that involves both the physical and the spiritual aspects of life. It has depth, complexity and meaning, and the fact that it accompanies the wearer through a lifetime only adds to the mystery and richness of the practice.
